Our mission at Yorktown Stables is to provide a safe and friendly full service equine facility with excellent training for the horse and rider.
We are dedicated to providing a healthy environment where the welfare of horses is a priority. We also want our riders to enjoy our social community as they develop and refine their skills in riding and horsemanship.

ABOUT US
Situated on 12 acres, Yorktown Stables is a facility for the horse enthusiast where training is customized to meet your individual needs and goals. YS offers English, Western and Saddleseat riding lessons for all levels of equestrians, from pleasure riders to advanced competitors, both children and adults. We have many regular group lessons and semi-private or private riding lessons can be scheduled at your convenience. During the summer, we offer children's camps and clinics.
As you will soon discover from reading about our instructors and teaching staff, we offer some of the finest riding instruction available. Quality school horses are available for lessons for those who are not horse owners. Our excellent school program has made Yorktown Stables one of the leading full-service stables in Hampton Roads.
In case you haven’t heard the good news, Yorktown Stables relocated in February 2012 to a permanent home in Seaford, VA. This has been an exciting transition and we invite you to be part of the process by checking out the New YS photo gallery for work-in-progress pictures of the new Yorktown Stables.
Our new facility will have all of our previous amenities with a few additions including: multiple arenas, office, kitchen, restrooms, and trails with views of the Chesapeake Bay. Stop by and visit us today!
